Come out this evening to support our SENIORS!!
RBES BOOK FAIR!!
Mrs. Peters’ 4th graders are learning about the people of the American Revolution with a scavenger hunt.
Mrs. Reedy's Food Safety and Nutrition students worked with fresh apples which helped them learn essential kitchen skills and also emphasized the importance of food safety and sanitation in the culinary process.
During the process which took several days, the students made 12 pints of apple butter, and they utilized different preservation methods, like freeze drying, to create apple slices. Students also used the apples to make apple pie filling which they froze to use in pies for a future foods lab.
Apple crisp and homemade applesauce were also ways the students were able to showcase the versatility of apples, allowing students to explore various textures and flavors.

In 1972, President Richard Nixon signed a proclamation declaring October 6 as National Coaches Day.
It states: "Coaches are highly qualified teachers—in highly specialized fields. But more than that, they are friends and counselors who help instill in their players important attitudes that will serve them all their lives."
Tanner Wingert, Senior, chose to honor Ms. Burchfield this week!
